Research Description

Coronary Stenting, High Triglycerides (Hyperlipidemia)

Personal Statement

Dr. Lipson's research interests include coronary disease and mortality in patients with end-stage renal failure; coronaryangiography is a better predictor of mortality; plasma chemokine levels are associated with the presence and extent of angiographic coronary collaterals in chronicischemic heart disease; and the presence of angiographic collaterals in Non-ST elevation myocardial infarction is a predictor of long-term clinical outcomes.
