This presentation will provide an overview of the translational projects being
conducted in the Freed laboratory with particular focus on the importance of studying
the microvasculature, mechanisms of human microvascular dysfunction, and
strategies in which to increase resilience to microvascular stress and prevent future
cardiovascular disease
