A Call to Action to Control Hypertension: What will it take to improve health outcomes in medically underserved communities?
The research seeks to gain an understanding of the gaps and barriers in medically underserved communities and the effect of their overlapping influence on improving healthcare availability, accessibility, acceptability, and quality of health care. The long-term goal of the work is to develop sustainable interventions that improve cardiovascular health care outcomes in medically underserved communities.
