Two members of the Sonkusare Lab received awards at the 2025 meeting of the North American Vascular Biology Society (NAVBO). Maniselvan Kuppusamy, PhD, a Senior Research Scientist, received the Emerging Leaders Award from the Microcirculatory Society. The award recognizes promising early-career researchers in the field. Postdoctoral fellow Fênix Araujo, PhD, received a travel award to present at NAVBO. Her talk was titled “Non-genomic Activation of Vascular TRPV4 Channels by Mineralocorticoid Receptors.” Congratulations, Maniselvan and Fênix!
